Who We Are
We are a group of women of color who are leaders, driven by social justice to improve healthcare for all people of color. We are women’s health practitioners, midwives, public health leaders, researchers, and educators who have come together to train professionals, administrators, and healthcare systems to change how they do things. Through consulting, direct services for healthcare systems and organizations, and engagement with women, we will reduce health care disparities that negatively impact people of color. We are driven by our values and moral responsibility.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to facilitate the transformation of healthcare systems to be equitable for all people. We do this by developing platforms for healthcare providers and healthcare systems to be responsive to the unique needs of diverse communities, creating evidence-based programs that address the roots of health inequalities, and partnering directly with women to be confident healthcare consumers.
